From planting to harvest,
I oversee every step.
I harvest medicinal plants from the garden, fields, and forests far from human footsteps or cars. The plants are then transformed into infusions (herbal teas), liquid concentrates (9% apple cider vinegar), mother tinctures (40% alcohol), oils, balms, ointments, vegetable capsules, lozenges, and more.
I also use shea butter and essential or castor oils in my preparations.
All ingredients are organic.
About the herbalist
I have always loved medicinal plants and share an intimate connection with nature.
I’m Cynthia, from Pabos in Gaspésie.
I have Montagnais roots from the north of Lac-St-Jean on my father’s side and Saline roots on my mother’s side.
The sea waves and fir scents have always been my most precious friends.
After years of exploration and learning, I founded Les Guérisseuses des Bois in 2017 in Val-d’Espoir, a small village in the Rocher-Percé MRC.
I continued my personal and professional studies by meeting shamans in several countries, Indigenous communities across Canada, and pioneer herbalists in my village.
